Anderson is a really interesting case. MSL tried to make him his pet project and he started to overthink everything. Simpler is better with him. North-south, pucks deep, finish your checks. He’s very effective when he plays like that. He gets in trouble when he tries to be creative.

Point is his skill set allows for much more. No tool box.

Most definitely. Speed, size, shot, but grinder brain. It’s ok, I like his contribution this year.

Guys making millions to play really shouldn't have any hobbies between training camp and the end of the playoffs.

Not the most well rounded kids, however.

When I pay to attend a game I want to see players who are good at playing hockey. I couldn't care less about whether they've read any good books lately.

I just reread A tale of two cities. Pulled my hard covers out of storage and thought, why am I saving these? So I started them up again.

There was a really interesting documentary about how the most successful athletes were actually multi-sports athletes. Something about hyper-trained focus is no conducive for creativity.

I recall seeing that too but on the other hand if there's one thing that Hutson doesn't suffer from it's a lack of creativity.

Gap control is solid , he will get burnt here and there but rest of his game makes up for it
