It was warranted when the loss was on the goaltending. Some games it was.

I’d rather a blowout here and there over consistently losing.

Five blowout losses with a total of 21 goal deficit over three weeks at home no less is unacceptable no matter how young you are. That’s Nordiques level territory from 1989.

The team was putrid yes but also the coaching staff has had to make adjustments and go more zone defence since the Fowler call up , which is something I have been screaming about for God knows how long.

Anyways, it’s all good.

I suspect HuGo wants to acquire a player that can keep guys like Tom Wilson from intimidating our players during playoffs…not a borderline 4th liner, but a decent 3rd liner, that can play 2nd line when needed

As we are presently built, we can win a 3-on-3 ice pond contest….not sure we survive a tough physical 7-game series when Brad Marchand and Tom Wilson types can get away with anything and refs whistles go silent

That player doesn’t exist in the league. Wilson picks his spot, he’ll bully players but won’t engage unless he wants to. We have Anderson and Xhekaj that can stand up to him but that won’t stop him.

We could potentially use a player that is a threat to injure other players but to be honest, I don’t really want to play that game.
