I agree that I don’t think his jersey should be retired, but I strongly disagree about the human failure comment. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bad word about him from all the people that knows him. Only from losers and hypocritical blowhards like Jack Todd.

But as I said yesterday, his off ice stuff, whatever your opinion about it, isn't relevant because one of the two necessary criteria is not present and never will be. He has no Cups. He's never going to have any. Same thing with Koivu. Same thing with PK. If you ain't in the Hall and you dont have a Cup, your jersey number does not get retired, full stop.
