He needs to bulk up, let him play another year in the KHL. Plus I think it’s good practice to pace rookies integration at this point. Let’s integrate Hage next year then Z the following year.

Yeah. Give Hage a cookie this year, but real integration will come with summer roster changes and training camp/practices next season.

I agree with both of you. After a long drought, we’re no longer starving for talent so we can optimize the harvest.

Plus some of our young guys might be strategic trade bait

Seriously... are these numbers worth getting excited about? I know you should be dominating your D+2... but at what level of scoring is it undeniable?

I'm excited that we don't have to get excited about him. In the Bergevin or Gainey era, Pickford would be close to a top 5 prospect. Now he's gravy....and we seem to have a lot of gravy which is a great problem to have for HuGo

Yep... but more likely the exception. Supremely talented but had demons.
