New Dynasty Baseball Roto League

Gauging the interest level of starting up a new fantasy baseball dynasty league, I'm in several points leagues and it would be really fun to have a dynasty rotisserie league going as well.

If people are interested, all details are up for debate, but here's what I have in mind to start with:

Entry: $25
Teams: 14 or 15
Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, 5OF, UTIL, 9 Pitchers, 5 Bench. We could also discuss whether we want it to be a 2-catcher league.
25 Minor League Spots.

Scoring: This would probably be the biggest debate. 5x5 Roto is still a great game, and we don't need to reinvent the wheel. I'd be fine with standard cats:
R, HR, RBI, SB, BA
W, K, SV, ERA, WHIP

However, we all know baseball stats are evolving, and we could consider tweaking it.
- OBP instead of BA
- Just adding walks or total bases as a 6th category
- Wins + Quality Starts, or just QS as a 6th category
- Saves + Holds

Let me know if you're interested in a new league, and any thoughts you have regarding league settings.
 
Would you be interested? Obviously we'd need some people in our current leagues to join. It could even be a 12-teamer if need be.

I think you guys are nuts, points is a "fairer" system but roto is still the most fun way to play fantasy baseball.

Maybe for a free redraft league.

I don't like roto leagues because they weigh every stat equally. Like a walk is worth as much as a home run?
 
I actually like Roto better as a format, but I think I'm in enough baseball leagues already. Looking for a dynasty hockey one though if that ever comes up!
 
If we were to create a new league, guess we'd need to get the ball rolling soon here. Hopefully a few more folks are interested as well. Rules outline below, I figure we'd start with 5x5 Roto and then add an extra category or two depending on what you guys think would work best.

Now let's see how many people are interested in doing a BRAND NEW DYNASTY DRAFT!

I like dynasty, and I like roto, but I think the timing is wrong for me to add another startup league to my portfolio. If this doesn't take off this spring, I'd be willing to check in again before next season.
