Bolt is retired. There's a new jamaican kid to keep an eye on. Kishane Thompson. He's not insanely generational like Bolt but he's a monster (throw back to Ato Bolden) and looks primed to run sub 9.80 if the track is fast. Kind of came out of nowhere in the 2nd half of the season. Fastest top speed on the planet right now by a lot.

You think our boy gets to the podium
 
De Grasse just did sub 20 seconds. At his age he needs to manage his training and competitions very carefully to peak at the right time. Will be tough, there are a couple of Americans who have run faster times this year. Podium finish would be outstanding for a 29 year old.
