I mean, if you stand back and look at the actual usecases for it, money laundering is at the top of the list. Almost by itself at the top of the list.

Yep. And honestly, even if they were capable and did want to throw resources into massively stockpiling new weapons, have at it. It’s a complete insane waste of money.

Past a certain point, there’s no functional difference between a relatively small number of thermonuclear warheads and several thousand. In either case you will essentially end human life if you launch your arsenal.

Yup. Other nations have found that number tbh. About 300-500, and spread across the "triad" of launch vehicles. Anything more than that is wasteful and dumb.
