I feel like Talarico needs at least a 5%+ advantage to have a shot. I'm sure there are some unhappy republicans or independents who will voice their displeasure now when it doesn't matter, but when they step into that voting both, they check that R regardless. The hope is these people just stay home.

Borrowing your broad brush strokes, I'd rather live in Canada. Being a cold weather person helps (although y'all can sometimes get some heat in the summer). For summer living, I'd definitely choose the Mendocino coast for the same reason. Rarely gets much above 70°F over there plus, for some strange reason, I get along with the locals, and Mendo's pretty easy to fade into, even though everybody knows everybody. Bitchy part of those picks would be fucking border crossings, which were once upon a time pretty chill both ways. Looks like I'm headed off continent.

feels like all the money has just been desperately doubling down on the hope that the trump/AI new world order is going to suddenly start being productive despite all evidence to the contrary. the worse the actual fundamentals get the more desperate they seem to be doubling down.
