OT: American Politics

With so few wearing a mask even those few who are being responsible and wearing masks are at risk. Wearing a mask protects others from you not you from others.

It’s also perfectly well understood how dangerous it is to cram 20,000 cheering & yelling people with zero physical distancing measures (99% of whom also view not wearing masks as something of a religious tenet) into an indoor venue smack dab in the middle of a COVID hotspot.

So again, no real honest “both sides suck” equivalence to be drawn there either.

There are certain things that are more justified than others.

Protesting racial inequalities outside while wearing masks is very different than a useless jerk off party in a stadium with no masks.

You know this. I'm not sure why you are playing dumb here. Ideally everybody stays home but there is an obvious difference in these situations.

If you learned to read I put protesters in quotes to segregate the ones that are out there not really protesting but the double fucking standard around here is mind numbing.

Anyone that doesn't need to be out there congregating shouldn't be and I don't give a rat's ass as to their politics or reasoning.
