The state’s Republican governor also promised to sign whatever flag legislation he’s sent, after previously promising to veto a flag change.

Yeah, there's only 44 Democrats in the House and 75 Republicans so I'm definitely (pleasantly) surprised.

Guess it's up to their Senate now. I think they're in session now from the looks of tweets.

All the Ds voted yes to a flag change (44) and the three independents did as well. So sounds like they got 38/75 Republicans to flip by offering a compromise of putting the state seal on the new flag which reads "In God We Trust".
