The moderate conservatives need a platform, there hasn't been one for over 20 years. Some are starting to finally figure out that they've lost all moderates under this President. It started under Bush 43.

This country needs at least two viable parties, preferably three.

Trump definitely put the spotlight on the issues within the GOP. Smarter moderates have noticed and should keep pushing to right the ship. Hopefully Trump's tenure will become the catalyst for meaningful change. Fiscal responsibility with more socially understanding policies. The "you're lazy and don't deserve anything" attitude is just way off.
