OT: American Politics

In the trump family, actually going to school, becoming a professional, and earning your own career (and inheriting only $200k of the family fortune) makes you a "zero".
 
It just an illustration of how the Trumps think the world works. The objective of everything is to accumulate fame and/or money. Doing something out of a sense of obligation, or standing for something in is alien to them.

Thats not to say that Mary's book isn't just a cash grab. But there are more than two possible reasons for writing the book.

It is, but I keep expecting that at some point before the election, Trump’s going to try and draw Canada in to his push to pretend the US has the virus under control and demand that the Canada/US border be re-opened.

Whatever the reason that hasn’t happened yet, whether it’s that Trump rarely remembers that Canada exists, that he prefers closed borders in general or that he’s afraid of being embarrassed if he demands a re-opening and we turn him down—I’m glad for it.
 
I say allow Canadian citizens that want to come back to do so. My brother is a performer in Vegas and tours allover the states. He has had to cancel everything until next June/July.
And he can't leave.

Ok, I’m confused.

If he’s a Canadian citizen, how could he be denied re-entry to Canada?

Wouldn’t he just have to observe the 14-day quarantine period after he gets back in?
 
Citizens are allowed back with quarantine. They will have to provide an address where they plan on riding out that quarantine is what I heard.
 
By all accounts...and I mean all accounts...even from his inner circle, everyone that interacts with him understands that he is a big moron. Nothing he says ever has an ounce of intelligence behind it. It is all showmanship and grandiosity.

Increasing ratings is an incentive to vote for Trump in his addled brain. It's really jawdropping.
