OT: American Politics

This is what happens when one sociopath is raised by another sociopath and goes his entire life forcing a complete fiction of who he is on himself, and everyone around him. He's pot-committed to acting like what is ostensibly a cartoon character depiction of a successful business mogul because that's what this moron thinks one of them actually looks like.

It's some sort of weird performance art of what the man that Donald thought his father would love would act like

He's a symptom of a broken country, truth be told. "Better" stopped mattering decades ago.
 
It remains to be seen how broken it is -- If I were 18 and could choose any country to live in, I might opt for the US, despite all the grossness.

Rock solid 40-42% support for an obvious authoritarian clown strikes me as pretty broken....and that's before we get into being the only western nation without functioning socialized healthcare, the endemic gun violence, the runaway opioid epidemic, MIA social safety nets, ridiculous cost of post-secondary education, massive racial tension that isn't going away because of one election, etc, etc, etc.

I mean, you do you and all but it's a "fuck you, I've got mine" society where the game is rigged to try to ensure you have as little as they can give you without you and yours going all torch and pitchforks on them.

Well he's white and has money. He good.
 
I know about all the problems, but there’s still a lot of great cities crammed with interesting creative folks, producing interesting opportunities. For me, that’s more important than healthcare at 18.
 
I think I'm pretty convinced that he's going to die from this, at this point. Seems pretty clear that he's an out-of-shape, very sick old man who's decided to ignore his doctors so he can continue to play the strongman for his base.

This is going to be a wild countdown to November 3rd.
