OT: American Politics

The guy is legally blind and uses a huge magnifying glass to work. Furthermore, when he saw it he got freaked out. His story is all over the place, I agree there, but truthfully and as someone that has also done this sort of thing numerous times, sometimes you get in and just see something you shouldn't on the desktop etc.

I agree that if that did happen he should have shut it down immediately but he delved further. That is where it gets messy. Is it a plant? Maybe. But then explain Hunter Biden on his surveillance camera dropping it off. Hunter claims he doesn't remember doing it off so he is either lying or was high as a kite when he did it.

Like I've said previously, the provenance needs to be verified. It is telling that the Biden campaign hasn't claimed the emails are fake though. It is starting to appear that the info is correct but the source is dubious at best.

Stay tuned, as much as people think this is nothing it won't be going away soon.

Yeah that was mentioned. And Harris's chief of communications being a VP at Twitter though doesn't matter apparently. Some consistency would be nice.

Regardless of all that, the actual emails seem valid. Still waiting for that part to be refuted and it has not.

This is a case of simply trusting everything Biden and Hunter says without verification. Leave your biases at the door. I am not saying he's guilty at all as there are still too many questions that need answered. I would however like to hear those answers.

it's telling that you did not have the same verve for investigating the children of Trump over the past four years.

let's shift gears and assume, for sake of argument, the contents of the emails are accurate. what do they prove? and what, if anything do they change?

the level of screaming here is, in my view, not commensurate (or even close) with the alleged wrongdoing. all the more ironic given the contrast on the other side (see: Ivanka Trump, trademarks, China).

also, I have not based my opinions on this issue, even one iota, on anything said by either Biden (I actually have no idea what, if anything, either have said on it).

I made my inferences and deductions based on the information available to me. and in hindsight, my initial gut reaction is being affirmed more and more as additional evidence is uncovered.

All these fucking politicians are corrupt as fuck, so much so that their families are corrupt motherfuckers too, like it's a family business to be crooked. No one in their right mind wants these shitty jobs. They're not in politics to help people. They're in politics to make key contacts, get the benefits of peddling your power and influence, and then get out of office to properly monetize it. I don't trust any of them for anything, not the Clintons, not the Bushes, not Obama, not Trump, not Biden. They're all slimy sickening people.

Even his real estate. The Golf courses regularly lose money and his bread and butter is commercial buildings (would you invest in downtown commercial real estate right now? Covid is throat fucking the commercial market as we speak) and condos (the one part of the Toronto market suffering right now, for example, is condos. Suburban single-family homes are fucking essssploding in value right now.

Trump might be in deep financial trouble (again...and again). And inB4 "bias"...do I want him to suffer miserably? Absolutely. That doesn't mean that I'm not probably right.

There's no verve man. My screaming was for censorship. Truthfully getting tired of having to explain it and to use your tact then , it's very telling that you don't use the same verve towards Dems as you do Pubs but I'm not going to regress into an argument today. If that's what you guys want I'll just bail. I had my cheat day yesterday.
 
I fully get wanting to get out of condos and into single family homes, but I'm struggling to understand where all the money is coming from to do it. You'd figure most people living in condos want to own their own homes (lots of exceptions, sure), but now with all of the covid carnage, there's all this idle money ready to probably lose money getting out of a condo and pay a premium to get into a house?

At no time did I say or even think that he's not ridiculously leveraged nor do I think he never lied on loan docs. Pretty certain he did.
