OT: American Politics

There's no verve man. My screaming was for censorship. Truthfully getting tired of having to explain it and to use your tact then , it's very telling that you don't use the same verve towards Dems as you do Pubs but I'm not going to regress into an argument today. If that's what you guys want I'll just bail. I had my cheat day yesterday.
If you can come up with an example where I give dems a free pass I’m happy to engage

I fully get wanting to get out of condos and into single family homes, but I'm struggling to understand where all the money is coming from to do it. You'd figure most people living in condos want to own their own homes (lots of exceptions, sure), but now with all of the covid carnage, there's all this idle money ready to probably lose money getting out of a condo and pay a premium to get into a house?

It's not idle money at all. It's people who bought 1 bedroom condos for 750K 5 years ago who can work from home now, leaving the city.

I'm in Beeton, which is not far from BondHead/Bradford...where they are putting in hundreds of homes in a few subdivisions.
Here in Beeton they're breaking ground on another one, while the last two subdivisions are still not completed, and with all the new homes, the existing ones still sell fast.

And yeah, judging by some of the un-neighbourly shit going on, lots from the city.

You screamed relentlessly about me being "judge and jury" every time I said this shit 3-4 years ago.

Every fucking time.

Yeah. Newmarket, Barrie, Milton, Guelph, etc, etc.

If you can work from home, why not do it with 2000sq and a backyard for the same price as your 850sq and a view of the next building over?

There are still some reasons - not being stuck having to drive everywhere, close access to bars/restaurants/concerts/etc...

Ideally, if places like Whitby could actually develop a little bit of a downtown of their own, where people can live and work from home with a yard, but also it's a quick go train ride downtown once or twice a week to go to the corporate office or a bar or a concert, that would easily draw a lot more people out to them.

I shudder to think about all the therapy dogs and coloring books they'll need if he does win. It's pretty unfathomable at this point.

GTA region badly needs highspeed trains and a beefed up rail network in general.

Trump at a rally today ranting about how Biden and the Obamas should be locked up.

Biden being arrested was my addition to the October surprise bingo card. Seemed far-fetched, even for these guys, a few months ago, but the commander-in-chief is now openly calling for it. Maybe it won't happen, but still almost three weeks to go. Hard to see how this ends well.

Didn't he used to say "LOCK HER UP"last election, and say his first order of business would be to ensure she serves time in jail once he is elected. It never happened and now he is a broken record. F$$K TRUMP

It's now lock him up about Biden. I'm not even kidding.

Trump has nothing new to say and don’t think they will ask anything that will allow him to speak to new things that could sway any undecided voters.

he will just say the same lies, act angry, and avoid questions that he finds it hard to lie about or isn’t a red meat q for his base
