OT: American Politics

Ok now I remember I think - the act 77 suit is the one trying to throw out all mail-ins completely, even though they waited until after the election to file it when it the mail-in legislation was nearly a year ago.

Yep. Also the one where one of the gop sponsors publicly supported act 77 and the expansion of mail in voting rights at the time of passing.

Most funny comedians are channeling their inner turmoil. Like Robin Williams for example, although I thought he was a comedic genius.
Have you watched the Robin Williams doc "Robin's Wish?"

I'm sure he had his demons, but it was Lewy Body dementia that killed him.

....so far.

The Kraken is coming.
Fall of 2021.

Yeah I have. He was the King of improv. Some of his early stuff was brilliant. One of my all time favorite comedians. Such a shame.
It’s funny, I thought he was an amazing actor (both dramatic and comedic), but his stand up shtick with the manic tornado of impressions and other nonsense really didn’t do it for me.

thank fuck those vaccines weren't announced 2 months earlier... Captain orange face would have rode that so hard like he invented the damn thing himself.
would be awesome to find out that they could have announced months ago but waited.. the timeline on distribution wouldn't have changed

I love off-the-wall comedy though. It's why I like Jim Gaffigan too. The crazier the better. Stephen Wright too.

I still believe they slow rolled it. Trump knew they were just about ready and said numerous times they would announce shortly after the election. Had they announced even a week prior it might have changed a couple of states. The world will never know though. Pauvre p'tit Donald.

As an aside for you Montrealais... Is Donald K. Donald productions still around? They used to put on all the concerts. That name always made me chuckle.

I'm also very skeptical. If it came out a few days or a week earlier, the entirety of his campaign rallies would be spent harping on having championed the fight against covid. Hard to imagine there not being some tangible impact on voting, maybe by energizing disenchanted Trumpers.

100% they did.
Like i said, had they even announced it 3 months earlier, the timeline for distribution would not have changed.
I would absolutely love it for that information to come out after inaugurating ... i dont think i could stand the tweeting if that came out when he still thinks he's relevant.
