Apparently the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff had a lot of the same concerns a bunch of us around here did after the election:

I was called crazy, I had Trump derangement syndrome, etc, etc.

That he was lining up to attempt a coup was obvious by about mid 2018.

yeah, I'm not usually for one back patting and self congratulations but a large fucking number of us here were on to this well before any talking asses and after the shit we were given for our accurate views I think some dunking is warranted.

so yeah, us fucking armchair GM message board posters saw the fucking coup coming while up to half the country was fawning at altar of the dotard. this should earn us some cred next time we warn about the ongoing threats to American democracy and the GOPs efforts to undermine it.

We really need a pack of some sort of extremely rapey animals in a pinch, don't we? Dolphins are super rapey, but I've never seen Trump venture into the ocean unfortunately.
