I think that's a false dichotomy and you create it because again I believe you fail to see how different and unprecedented Trump is.

Trump can be punished for crimes committed and things can still stay the same in Washington. Washington can remain corrupt, and turn their backs on Trump who again, to be clear, is not one of them. The Republicans that survive this upcoming election won't be lining up to publicly support Trump.

I see your point and understand that unprecedented times should lead to unprecedented change. People would hope so. I simply think the system is too far gone for it to happen and he simply won't be indicted and because of this the slings come out which is fine if there were ever mea culpas that followed when it doesn't happen. Very few here do. Very few.

If this is your big concern that has led to you essentially giving up, you should be supporting people like Bernie and AOC who actually do want to change the system in a real way.
