ooooh man I remember this commercial! hahahahahahahahahaha.That is as delicious as it is predictable. What did they think was going to happen when the demographics of their voting base moved outside of the demographics their corporate overlords found most appealing? Coke doesn't give a **** about keeping a 70 yr old customer happy, but a 20 yr old who hasn't developed soft drink brand loyalty yet? Worth thousands of dollars each to them. They will pander like a motherfucker to make said 20 yr old believe that Coke aligns with their personal beliefs.
This Pepsi commercial was fucking cringe worthy, but it was early to the party and underlines what these big brands are trying to accomplish:
