OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

I don't even think about it at this point...Obviously I would love a vaccine by early 2021, and while I think it's certainly possible, I'm not counting on it.
 
A few articles I've read where scientists in different countries are convinced it is lab modified sars.

I read this stuff more than a couple of weeks ago. Apparently there is widespread doubt.

The main claim is that the virus was not created but sequences were inserted into the virus that cannot be natural.

Obviously scientists disagree.
 
Scientists often disagree with each other. I think that's creating some confusion and people interpreting their theories as facts as various sensationalist headlines come out. For every scientist that says it's man made another says it isn't. Im not going to believe one scientist over another. The truth is we don't know.
 
Thanks. I'm pretty skeptical of the man-made claim but I'll at least trudge though some of these articles.

But hey, if this one wasn't, the next one will be after they see America's bumbling, incompetent response.

I haven't heard anyone caution that just walking around outside, you will encounter everyday wildlife (birds, people walking their dogs etc). Can they transfer the virus 🤔

In fairness NY state hid their awful data pretty well from Florida and Texas. The best thing was that dumbass mayor of Vegas....opening up a tourist super spreader hub was pure genius.
 
Sucks so much for bar and restaurant owners. I understand why people want to go back to them but man, gonna be tough until there's a vaccine which isn't happening any time soon.
