I will admit I really haven't done any research into this, but I've had the thought, if this virus was a move to destabilize the rest of the world while they make a move for more power (HK? was that it?), it seems to be working.

As a side note/question, how has China, other than the Wuhan province, fared? Again, haven't done any research, but most of the data that I see when reading on here seems to come specifically from only that province.

Not a conspiracy theory guy really, so it hasn't been a rabbit hole I've wanted to go down.

I'm not a conspiracy guy either, but there is definitely some data to indicate it might be man-made. There's also the fact that at one point Trump said it was and that we'd find out soon. Then he seemed to shut up about it after that. He is probably the least reliable source on Earth for anything when it comes to facts, but he's also in the position to have access to this info first. And if I recall started calling it the China-virus after that.

Also interesting that it didn't seem to spread all that much outside of Wuhan (in China). Though we can't really trust China's reporting, so who knows exactly what happened.

Most scientist comments I've read about it possibly being man-made seem to agree that if it did happen it was almost certainly an accident.

I doubt it was released intentionally but who knows with all the global turmoil.

Even if it was accidental, China is culpable to the world for creating this thing in the first place and not securing it properly. Accidents also have consequences.

pretty sure there were US reports warning about the risk of this exact thing happening from this exact lab.

also recall the funding for the American researchers at the lab being cut off.

I agree that it was probably not released intentionally. It may have been released negligently though.
