Super stoked, tomorrow I am picking up the new Rog Ally Handheld console by Asus. Curious if we have any gamers here? Being able to play the latest games handheld is a game changer for me given my work and life commitments. Going to grab a copy of Diablo 4.
Some pretty cool handheld stuff out. I've kinda looked at the steam deck but just use my pc. Got a switch for the kids so I use that if I want something portable (mostly civ6). D4 has been decent so far. Cross platform is seamless.
I bought the Steam Deck for my brother's birthday and he loves the thing.
I used to game a lot in my teens, and while I still like gaming, I simply don't have the time for it anymore. I've never enjoyed the FPS type of games that were always repetitive and the same, but I've always been attracted to story-based games that JRPGs brought. Although JPRGs these days are fucking dreadful.
90s JRPGs, though? I re-played Suikoden 1 & 2 a few years ago and they're still fabulous.
