roiland adlibs everything. pretty sure he's also the scifi nerd.

the show is done.
Well, they have like 35 episodes to deliver still, and a shit ton of money on the line, so no surprise that Dan Harmon will continue on his own.

But effectively, yeah, I don't know how they can replicate the voices and mannerisms of the iconic main characters. Even if the voices are actually better somehow by the replacement, it'll be weird regardless.

Watched the first season on The Peripheral on Amazon. I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about it. It's quite good, there are some interesting and smart time travel ideas.

It's not going to blow you away, but it's definitely a solid watch. 8/10

First mom looked crazy and turns out, was in real-life.

I prefer when characters just disappear. like that Family matters daughter (Later turned to porn, true story) and Chuck Cunningham.
heh, there were two Chucks though:

edit: my mistake, I forgot about the pilot (there were three Chucks lol);

But yeah, the character just disappeared early on & I don't believe never was mentioned again; they probably got tired of recasting such a minor role.

The first mom was crazy, but she was way better actor and character than the mom that replaced her.

A shame that she somehow got it into her head that the show wasn’t just a star vehicle for Will Smith.

Night Court kept having the female baliff die on them.
Selma Diamond already had one foot in the grave when the show started.

The producers had also wanted Markie Post for the role of defense attorney but when Night Court began she was still co-starring on The Fall Guy and was unavailable. So they settled for Ellen Foley, who had been best known as the woman who sang with Meatloaf on "Paradise by the Dashboard Light". As soon as Post became available, Foley was dumped.
