I'll still argue drafting Jalen Ramsey instead and letting Alfred Morris be the main back would have been a better move overall. Hell, with the way things are going now, it might have made the Cowboys legitimate Superbowl contenders.

Is Zeke really that good or is the O-Line making him look that good?

I'm not saying he's a bad player, but based on the Cowboys's bad defense, their great O-Line, a CB was something they needed a lot more than a great RB. I think Alfred Morris + McFadden could have done a more than decent enough job at a fraction of EE's cost + they could have improved their defense.

Because the attack was uni dimensional. Everybody knew we were going to run the ball and if we weren't, we had bad QBs who couldn't pass.

This year, it's a triple threat and it keeps the defense honest. On third & short, it could just as easily be a pass play, a short pass or a QB run. They can't stack the line and it keeps the defense honest. That's also why Romo had so much success two years ago because of the high usage of Demarco Murray mixed with the very efficient passing.
