Jesus Christ. If you're outside, put the fucking phone away and start trying to smash windows. Or something. Anything, aside from standing there with your thumb up your ass recording people burning, asphyxiating and being crushed to death for the views.
And of course, there were also plenty of people recording from inside while the fire spread around them who likely never made it out. Honestly, maybe they should make it a mandatory part of public education for young people about to enter bar/club age to show them footage in full graphic detail from this fire and of the Station nightclub fire. Just to drive home that if a fire breaks out in a building that you're currently inside, especially a crowded public venue, DROP EVERYTHING AND GET THE FUCK OUT ASAP. And that even if you do that, you might still be fucked. That's how quickly a fire inside can flash over and set everything ablaze.
