Yeah I don't think the value changes massively here but you'd think something has to come off of that for the missed time.

This is also assuming it's not an entire year he misses
 
Me too, but for way, way less. Clippers lose all leverage, we can trade off of Ingram for an expiring to clear the space and sign him in free agency for nothing

My guess, and granted i know nothing, is there is maybe a 20-25 game suspenstion, and some sort of tax break to allow for the Raps to pursue Demar/Jonas and the trade remains exactly the same.

The ability to give kids some run while Kawhi sits is interesting too.

All a suspension IMO really does is maybe affects where we end up between 2-6 in the East standings year one, which is, fine

For a team that can absorb the suspension with no real ramifications and get tax savings to add to the roster, somehow yes.

Which is why is suspect the deal just stays as is
