the dudes we are interviewing are not dudes anyone else had ever heard of in terms of what PHX, PHI, and i guess fucking DET were looking for

This job isn’t very appealing to the top tier of coaches. Middling roster possibly on the verge of a rebuild/retool. Probably a too patient management team.

The fact we werent even remotely linked to any of these dudes with experience ( and there were lots) has me convinced the rebuild is going to happen.

There are too many teams looking to add top talent with legit high end draft picks said to be available and if Brown is staying in Boston our competition is what? Bradley Beal who WAS seems to never end up dealing anyways?

The time to blow it up and hire a rookie coach is almost perfect IMO
