OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Would he be doing this with a healthy BBQ

he wouldn't have had this many touches, true, but at the same time none of our guys are shoot-happy guys. They all like moving the ball.

And now that they know Gradey can do this they'll be looking for him more.

TBH i'm not sure i remember the raps having 4 actual skilled scorers in a starting lineup at the same time.

Don't see why not. The starting lineup is probably going to split about 70-75 shots a game between them and Gradey is "only" getting 16.4 right now. I don't see why that can't work.

Jake: 8
Scottie: 16-18
Gradey: 16
RJ: 16
IQ: 16

I don't think that's a good defensive lineup and I think I'd be pretty quick on subs to manage matchups we were losing, but it sure looks like it can outscore a lot of it's problems against a lot of other starting lineups.

Views on the raps would have been much different coming in if Dick had shown even a hint of this level last year.

Yeah, this might be the best 2-6 start in NBA history. I'm only half joking. 2 best players injured forcing us figure out that we have way more roster depth than we thought coming into the year, forcing RJ to become a facilitator and focal point (which he's done an okay job of) and Gravy to be a go to scorer (which again, pretty okay job of). If those 2 can transition back to working off ball to Scottie & IQ we might have a stew going.

yeah the only real black mark on the season so far is that opening day shellacking by CLE.

Every other game has been a good one, despite being down 2+ starters and 4+ rotation guys every game, and despite playing against some great teams.

And it even looks like CLE had just decided to be dominant this year, so even that opener stings less.
