OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

What they learned is that it can be done, but it's easier to not try to. They're 3-0 since iHart returned, and he's is a +45 over those 3 games, leading the team by a lot (Williams is a +34, Shai is a +27 no one else about +20).

It is good to be able to match up against everything though, definitely. But a big reason they got worked by Dallas was that Lively and Gafford went nuts. Need to be able to match up against a team throwing rim runners at you.

I think the Raptors might be non tanky when healthy. Hot take, i know

Starting to look non-tanky even if they aren't fully healthy tbh. I think they're pretty much a .500 team when Scottie is in the lineup, and that's still without being close to healthy.

The influx of young depth talent is pretty incredible so far. I still don't really think it will last, but Dick and Agbaji have jumped from useless to borderline starter quality, while it looks like we have at least 2 and maybe as many as 4 legit playable rookies in year 1 of one draft.....which is crazy tbh.

Early in the season, amidst a lot of injuries and rookies on the court, the defense was absolutely atrocious. And Mindz had wondered how much to put on Darko, which is absolutely fair, since coaching plan and effort play a huge part of Team D. But it really does seem like it's gotten better quickly, obviously still a work in progress but really hoping game planning and player development will be strengths for him in the long run.
