OT: The Official Toronto Raptors Thread

Battle and Martin have actual specific strengths as players, unlike the vanilla bullshit of Dick/Jakobe/Agbaji.
 
The raps will play without four starters (poeltl, rj Barrett, Barnes and ingram )for the foreseeable future smh

Expect a freefall in the standings, and a small ball lineup from now on. The only starter remaining is quickley and the rest of our lineup are bench players. It will be difficult to generate offense, drive to the rim, get rebounds, finish plays around the rim and score putbacks( because of our lack of size at the center position/on the front court ), create plays, shoot and score.

I hope the raps survive and overcome their absence

Rj just turned an ankle i doubt he's really injured.

and scottie finished last game fine he's proabbly good.
 
I worry about the perimeter defense and especially rim defense….expect to see them be physically dominated in the paint, on the glass, around the rim and downlow. We won’t be able to contain opposing bigs/powerforwards/centers. Opposing teams will find it easier to get offensive/defensive rebounds and second scoring opportunities ( and maintaining ball possession and ball movement in our zone longer) against us
