I take shit from some people for criticizing Charlie for how he handles the pen.

He doesn't have guys they tell me

Richards is a guy

Charlie is using him up 8-0 for some fucking reason.

Ryan Borucki is up here for emergencies.

Both him and Gurriel I almost immediately called as looking like star types to me. But I don't follow baseball like before and everyone here said not so much, so...

All I care about frankly is our ability to keep all these awesome players in the fold going forward.
 
If the jays had turned that DP Manoah would have come out for the 9th.

I lost my mind when Montoyo kept yanking good starters in close games on 89-90 pitches.... but pulling him on 97 pitches in a blowout is fine and smart imo.

And rays are no joke. Using your 4th or 5th best rp is fine. No need to tempt fate.

Anyways, world series here we come.
 
Looks like ryu has one this year - first since hutch and buehrle in 2015. Also the first cg by a Jays pitcher since firebrand????

I didn’t see the hit Manoah gave up. Was it solid?

Had a feeling early today that he had no-hit stuff.
