I worry more about his offensive skillset aging poorly than the MI D

That's a long way away, he'll have bat speed for a long time... I don't like the Prima donna attitude in regards to SS.

They're always going to be "after" those guys but unless the sweet spot of shared risk is arrived at, they'll never get those in prime stars. They would rather spend the same money with less years attached to it on 30+ guys they hope age gracefully for 3-4 years instead of signing a 28 yr old to a 8 year deal.
