Yeah, I know that it was a concern at one point, but I think Pittsburgh has established itself as a bona fide NHL city now.

That said, once Sid and Geno retire... who knows what it looks like. Maybe people stop going to games.

In Pittsburgh, as most elsewhere, I think it will depend on the level of competitiveness the team has after they leave. Like most cities these days, with the myriad of entertainment options and limited dollars available to most, if the Pens fail to field a competitive team, attendance will falter.
FSG, though, has been shrewd in their investments, both with the Bosox and with Liverpool FC (my Premier League side). I would expect nothing less when it comes to staying competitive in the NHL.

I really like this move. Obviously it looks like Nylander will never live up to his potential... but there's still some potential upside there. Lafferty is what he is... a bottom 6 plug.

Low risk, medium reward... love these types of deals.

The Penguins have activated forwards Jason Zucker and Bryan Rust from the NHL’s COVID-19 Protocol List. Forwards Kasper Bjorkqvist and Radim Zohorna have been assigned to Pittsburgh’s taxi squad.

Oh, and forward Drew O'Connor is being evaluated for an injury that will see him miss some time.
 
NHL rescheduled all games that have been postponed this far, taking advantage of the previously alloted Olympics break. These are the nine Pens games affected
