May as well get the ball rolling here soon. Post your protected lists in this thread, 20 Regular Players, 30 Minors, plus up to 6 Reserves.

Minor League Eligibility is up to 150 GP for position players, 50 for pitchers.

If you have more than 56 players in Fantrax, you must drop the extra players immediately. Your up-to-6 unprotected players will need to be dropped in Fantrax before the draft. Teams can only lose a max of 3 players. At the end of the draft, you can request to have any of your unprotected players added back to your roster, if they were not chosen during the draft.

Every year there are quite a few mistakes on lists. Please BE THOROUGH and make sure your list is an exact match with your roster in Fantrax.

It's not a grey area, otherwise we'd just have a maximum of 50 protected and 56 overall... but we have it specified to 20 majors, 30 minors and 6 unprotected.

The only way to have more than 20 and 6 is to have people on the DL, which does not exist in the off season.

You're probably right, that's my mistake. Though I do seem to recall this happening once before, with a team having more than 6 on the Unprotected List for a similar reason. Though I might be misremembering.

To clarify one point, the 20 Regular Keepers list can include any combination of regular players or minor leaguers. Maybe there's a team or two that can send him a comparably valued minor leaguer (or draft pick) for one of his unprotecteds.

Okay, i went through Wade's team and the minor league guys were misnumbered, there were 28 not 26, so that explains why the # of players didn't match Fantrax.

He did have 1 ineligible player in the minors, so that player was dropped along with 2 unprotecteds. List is now good to go, 20 regular, 27 minors, 6 unprotected.
