My tickets in 325 went up $480, almost half of which is a parking increase from $19 to $24 per game. And pour one out for Premier Parking, it’s gone the way of the dodo.

Edit - anyone that pays monthly by credit card will be charged a 3% administrative fee. It’s waived for any that pay in full or use ACH draft. It’s not in the email, it’s in the invoice details.

Auto Renewal -

If your account is enrolled in the auto-renewal monthly payment plan, your Membership will automatically renew on Tuesday, March 25th 2025. Prepaid Parking Update - For the upcoming season, due to construction timelines impacting parking lots, all STM accounts that include a season parking pass will be invoiced for a General parking pass for the 2025-26 season.

They are charging a $2 per ticket premium for Aisle seats in my section (112). That Aisle seat premium is $4 (and $5 and $6) in higher priced lower level sections.

My bottom line before taxes increases are $7 per ticket per game ($5 increase and $2 further increase for aisle seats)and the aforementioned $5 per game parking increase. My total cost for my full season tickets and parking will be up about 11.2%

Yup... first thing I noticed was the aisle seat premium, damnit. Second is premier parking gone, damnit. Probably a polar's word on the way when I get a minute to look closer and add it all up.

The removal of premier parking is probably a good thing overall. They won’t have to jam things up everywhere to allow for separate in and out groups. I’d imagine that’s the reason for that. Got to say the general parking experience has sucked this season.

I haven’t had any unusual problems getting out of the East 2000 lot that the team can control. The issue is the never ending construction at the Wade Ave. interchange with the Beltline. I have a handicap parking pass and parked in the East 1000 lot during the playoffs. That was a nightmare, the premier lot gets a dedicated lane out to the road between the arena and Carter Finley but the General and handicap in that lot have to come out between it and the East 2000 lot. The other east lots exit onto Wade but the east 1000 lot swings up Westchase to Blue Ridge, where there is a traffic light. One time, the handicap spots in East 2000 and the parking guy tried to direct me into the 1000 lot. But, quoth the Raven, nevermore.

We come in on Edwards Mill Road to intentionally ensure we park in East 2000. Any efforts by anyone to divert us into any of the lots before we get to East 2000 are ignored by us. Being dumped onto Wade Avenue is perfect if we either need to drop someone back off at NC State or jump on the Beltline/1 South to get back to Holly Springs.

Really the only part of getting from East 2000 to the Beltline going South that is scary is trying to move off of Wade Avenue onto the exit ramp while the traffic from East 1000/Blue Ridge pours down the on ramp into the same spot. Its hit or miss who you are going to be dealing with in that situation and there have been way too many reckless idiots who absolutely fly down that on ramp despite the slowing traffic on Wade Avenue with zero consideration that people also need to get over into that lane to get off of Wade Avenue. No one is driving 55+ at that point on Wade Avenue, but people still fly down that on ramp like they need to be going 70 MPH before getting onto Wade Avenue.

Eventually once all the construction is done, there will be a 2nd lane for getting onto that Beltline South exit from Wade Avenue that is accessible without getting all the way over into the right hand lane on/off ramp lane. In a perfect world that SHOULD make things easier for everyone. The reality is that more accidents will happen at that point as people continue to fly down the Wade Ave. on ramp from Blue Ridge road and at the last possible second realize they need to get over onto Wade Avenue.

Its seriously impossible to get people to just slow down when getting out of the arena until they are clear of the traffic. The number of accidents on Wade Avenue after the game is ridiculous.

The other issue with that merge is that the ramp off Wade onto Blue Ridge is closed. I don’t know if there is signage before the arena, but invariably there are people flying down Wade from 40 who want to get off on Blue Ridge and can’t. But they drive right up to the barriers, as if the can’t see the flashing blue lights behind them.
