The 2019-2020 MotherFucking Season Thread

Well we did just see Barrie go from having great numbers with one team, to being terrible with a new team..... If he went back I assume he would do well again.

Barrie 5v5

Eh, don't assume NJ thinks severson is as good as we think.
Dellow has more power than you think. There's a reason the only d you hear about available are Subban and vatanen.

They're very unlikely to trade the younger better player. But that doesn't mean leafs shouldn't try.

I think I'd trade Kappy and Dermott for either Severson or Manson. Its a steep price, but its also exactly the thing the Leafs need. But it also has Steen/Cola vibes. You have to be sure about what you're getting.

Man going over the numbers for both is complicated. Lots of inconsistencies and variation.

I would tend to conclude that manson is better statistically but at the same time he's had a guy like Lindholm to help which severson has never had, and his one bad year last year came in the year he played mostly apart from him. Meanwhile severson's numbers before this season were more questionable than I thought, though as a 25yr old his steady improvement into a very good year this year kinda makes sense.Manson of course brings size and toughness which is nice, but his offensive contributions are nil. Though even in his bad year last year his defensive metrics stayed good. I could make statistical arguments for both of them being realgud and both of them being huge question marks.

Overall I like both, but man it takes a higher pay grade than mine to sort out the numbers on this comp.

Don't get desperate. We don't need anyone that badly.

Dermott is expendable because Rielly-Muzzin-Sandin arguably, but he's still pretty good with a boatload of potential. The trick is to convince the other team to take him, plus a couple of nickels instead of the dime that is Kapanen. Bracco and Korshkov? Bracco and Timashov? These are deals we can live with. I kinda like the idea of Manson too, but let's be careful not to trade good youth away just because it's fun to trade.

I still think the key is Barrie. Find a way to use him to upgrade on himself.

There is no higher pay grade when it comes to sorting numbers. Now what?

Yup. Dellow and Cane got the ears of the owner.

It's unclear after all these years what your occupation is and how much you'd probably earn from it, so I will have to take your word for it.
