and I'm the last person here to say the bruins are overrated. Quite the opposite.

I said they were scarier than the bolts coming into this season while everyone else has been predicting their decline the last few years.

To defend you for a bit, you did say that. You also say every individual leaf is better than every individual bruin though. You have a hard time admitting how good some of their players are since they don't play for Toronto.

Not exactly.

I was the one saying the two teams matched up very closely heading into the last 2 playoffs series, while you guys called me a homer.
 
Hearing the constant claims Leafs have the worst cap situation is hilarious. No one is aware of any of the other 30 teams' cap situations.
It's kind of funny that a team that never makes the playoffs and reportedly lost 50 million in 1 season (Arizona) has 0 cap.
If you have talent and a "Good team" you will be capped-out even if you play your cards right.
And the teams with stars on "Steals" all signed those players when they were not putting up very god produxtion and they were not worth more than what they signed at the time (Mackinnon, Marchand, ETC).

Like me, he has.

But when it comes to comparing Bruin individual players vs Leafs players, that's where the objectivity went out the window. Which is fine. He's a fan. He has no obligation as a fan to do anything but be a cheerleader for the team he roots for.
 
Bruins only issue is they have important pieces passing or about to pass their prime years.
That draft talk is overdone, but holy crap did they ever swing and miss on those 3 straight draft picks they had. We're lucky, would have entended their window much longer.
 
I've got no issues with zeke being a loyal fan and thinking he cheers for the best team in sports. It's the kind of passion I would expect out of a fellow Italian. At the end of the day we're all glorified cheerleaders and zeke is the best cheerleader of us all.
 
The only one that correctly analyzed how close those series would be. Even without receiving the better goaltending.

I mean we all know I'm good but damn - I'm good.
