The Fantastically Beautiful Joyously Superfun 22-23 Season Celebration Thread

I think zeke knows this? I'm not sure why he's dying on this hill tho. He's better than this.

Same list by P1/60, with some additional 2nd & 3rd line guys thrown in

Vrana: 2.47
Kadri: 2.37
Marchment: 2.22
Duclair: 2.12
Nicushkin: 1.94
Mangiapane: 1.87
Bennett: 1.86
Roslovic: 1.85
Craig Smith: 1.82
Schenn: 1.80
Lundell: 1.75
Jarvis: 1.75
Texier: 1.75
Foligno (no, the other one): 1.75
Olofsson: 1.60
Debrusk: 1.57
Kerfoot: 1.54
Necas: 1.54
Stastny: 1.53
Gaudreau: 1.52
Jenner: 1.51
Crouse: 1.50
Milano: 1.44
Coyle: 1.22
Cirelli: 1.22
Rodrigues: 1.19

I could add a pile more that were in similar roles, but I can't be bothered. Kerfoot is fucking dreadful, however you try to spin it. Complete passenger on a 2nd line.

"with some additional guys thrown in"

Lines in the 2nd group

Gaudette - Tavares - Marner
Malgin - Holmberg - Nylander

Giordano - Holl
Kral - Dahlstrom

Holmberg is getting a legit looksee I think. I like that kid.

And they really want to se whether the last two shit years for Gaudette were that injury/sickness thing.

Yes, players who play a similar role at 5v5.

If we're claiming Kerfoot is a decent winger for the 2nd line, let's compare him to other guys playing that role and not 3C's like Rodrigues, Stastny, etc. Kerfoot has already flopped out of that role ffs.

Really don't love that the guy who carried Tavares at 5's last season is the one Keefe is looking to give the shit end of the stick to.

Literally comparing our 6th highest scoring forward to every other team's 6th highest scoring forward, and you think that's misleading.

didn't you post numbers that showed Kerfoot is a bad, and perhaps the worst, fit on the second line? or am I misremembering?

Despite the obvious of wanting to win, Im really rooting for Murray to find his groove. Seems like a genuine good guy who had a rough go with his old man passing.

The motivation is there to have a bounce back season. Lets see if the body can handle it

Any particular reason you didn't use ppg for once here? Looks like Kerfoot drops a bunch if you do.

true, you do get teams like Vegas that had 3 guys with better ppg than kerf that played only 30-odd games, and a 4th that played 56. And every team has a guy or two in that kind of scenario pretty much.

but mostly because i was being quick and i couldn't be assed to figure out how to count the guys traded away and for, and i'd have to figure out some kind of minimuim games played which of course people would object to. And hey I already thought it was pretty unfair to put Kerf with his no PP time up against the rest with regular PP time just on raw totals.

But if you don't care about that stuff then here you go.....there should be a higher minimum threshhold but i should at least use a 20gm min?

1. STL Perron .85 (67gms)
2. COL Burakovsky .76 (80gms)
3. FLA Verhaghe .71 (78gms)

30. NYR Kakko .42 (43gms)
