I honestly struggle to think of any other Leaf player I’ve seen in my lifetime who managed to hang onto a roster spot and regular spot in the lineup for multiple seasons while being more of a useless, bland complete nonentity than Calle Jarnkrok.

It defies belief that he was paid $8.4M by this team for his services and actually played out the full 4-year contract Dubas signed him to without being waived, demoted, bought out or dumped.

I really hope that fraud Dubas signs him again this summer. I’d laugh so hard.

The perfect "Just a Guy" player. Absolutely insane he was able to ride out that entire contract as an NHLer.

Maybe they’d go in another direction anyway and that’s fine but I don’t think I really get talking to 55 people and not Cassidy or Woodcroft.
 
Just so I have it all straight: Friedman says Pavelski is in the 5 and maybe Gruden or Giordano but those aren’t confirmed.

LeBrun says Pavelski, Woodcroft, Roy.

Correct?
 
So basically Woodcroft was part of the initial ~55 people they talked to "informally" but didn't necessarily make it past that point? So much conflicting information being thrown around. It's awesome.
