The official NFL thread

Hey if you like watching people stand around for timeouts 8 times per game plus waiting 45 seconds between every snap of the ball, be my guest. Besides, who gives a shit if 60 Minutes gets preempted by a half an hour anymore? CBS basically killed it anyway.

In the CFL you get one time out and a 20 second play clock. In other words, the rules force you to get the fuck on with it. If I could change one thing about the NFL it would be that. The endless time out's and eternity of time between snaps. Anything that takes time away from some dipshit like Tony Romo speaking would be great.

I don’t know how many people watch CFL. Most people I know, do not. I’ve never been able to really get into it. I mean, I may have glanced at a Grey Cup game if the Argos were in it but honestly can’t say I’ve watched a full game except back in the day when the parents friend group hosted grey cup parties. I was like 5.
