It's been a little discouraging to see that the negotiations between the players and management have gone so poorly. Of course, management is doing their best to paint this as an "unreasonable player" problem when it's anything but. But I digress.

Here's the latest, a few days after the puppet clown Rob Manfred announced the first two weeks of the regular season would be cancelled.

Major League Baseball canceled the second week of the regular season Wednesday after days of discussion with the MLB Players Association failed to generate a new collective bargaining agreement.

MLB owners vote to ratify CBA, ending lockout

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and union chief Tony Clark hailed the new collective bargaining agreement Thursday, which halted the league's 99-day lockout and salvaged a 162-game season.
