OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

Has south park made an episode about this yet... or is real life far more ridiculous than even matt stone and trey parker could come up with?
 
And if you ask Joe Rogan, one of the dumbest people I've ever listened to, masks are gay. It has become both a political and masculinity thing to protect yourself during a pandemic. Fucking dumbfounding.

Looks like I was wrong about things slowing down. Worldwide yes, but these morons are really doing their best this just doesn't go away soon. Death counts being down are still a thing, but I think that's because the average demographic testing positive now are people in their 30's and 40's. The older folk (aside from the Trumpanzees in Tulsa today) seem to be taking this more seriously.

Underestimating how dumb Murica is seems pretty understandable. They keep upping their idiot game.

And yeah, I think you're exactly right about the death counts, a lot of states are saying that 20-40 yr olds are making up most of the new cases now.
 
In fairness the increase in testing is a large factor in that. Most in that age group weren't getting tested before. Still though. . Horrifically dumb country.

Some states are seeing increased new cases with no significant increase in testing. Was looking at graphs with both numbers tracked yesterday.

Joe has smart guests on from time to time and people equate that to Joe being smart
 
Over 50% of confirmed cases in the US remain unresolved (it's about 15% in Ontario, for comparison).

So you're probably looking at another 120k of current cases who WILL die from this, with numbers exploding.

Joe’s superpower is that he was one of the first to hit it big with podcasting so he has developed a platform that is large enough to get any guest he wants, including some of the smartest people on the planet, which further increases the value of his platform.

A guy like Bill Gates is asked to be a podcast guest thousands a times per week. When he agrees to do one, it’ll probably be Rogan, which is a damn shame, because in his desire to be taken seriously as a thinker, Rogan just babbles endlessly and makes his podcasts 2x as long as they should be.
