Looking forward to seeing what Davis, Boucher, and Hernandez can do. I think they're all players.

curious to see how we deal with having only one PG on the roster... imagine Siakam, Powell, and Davis all get a chance as primary ball handler.

I think they're all players, though I don't know if it's this year. I'm not sure about Davis' or Boucher's offensive chops yet. Boucher might just be dumb. Now that I've gotten to watch him a bit in real, non garbage time minutes, his court IQ seems lacking. Still might be a good 3&D stretch 4 though, just on tools alone. Davis might struggle this year with adjusting to NBA 3 point range. Getting his shooting up at the NCAA level took him a couple of years.

Boucher is definitely limited. 3s and blocks/rebounds only, bench upside only, but I think good bench upside is there.

Davis can kind of do anything. He may be a dummy like norm tho. We'll see.

I do think Davis will need a year or two before we see what he is for sure. I think he will be a slightly better version of Norm.

Hernandez I believe will also be a player in a year or two. Needs some playing time. 905 will be good for him.

Boucher I agree seems to lack basketball IQ on the offensive side. Back of the bench big is all I think he should be used for.

Depending on how long Serge/Kyle are out for you may see Masai try to make some small moves. Not expecting much.

I know it all worked out but it's a shame we burned a 1st just to move the corpse of Carroll. Seeing what Masai may have turned that pick into would've been interesting.

And absolutely NO to Carmelo coming in here. That guy has zero buy in. I don't see that working out at all.

I had a thought yesterday...

recognizing that this could be an epic misadventure, particularly defensively... convince me that Carmelo Anthony would not help improve the Raps. even if it's just as a scorer to anchor our bench unit... (this assumes that if he started trying defensively, he would be less than terriawful)

Inefficient volume shooter who doesn't try on D. Absolutely not.

Depth was already stretched with no injuries, at least for the early part of the season before the noobs can establish themselves.

It'll be a tough storm to weather.

Would be nice if RHJ or Johnson could sort their shit out. RHJ specifically has looked like a functioning rotation player for most of his career and would allow us to play a deeper small ball lineup with the injuries

C - Gasol/Boucher/Hernandez
PF - Pascal/OG/RHJ/Hernandez
SF - OG/RHJ/Thomas
SG - Norm/Davis/Thomas
PG - FVV Sr./Norm/Davis

With your 8-9 rotation looking like

Gasol
Pascal
OG
Norm
FVV

RHJ
Davis
Thomas
Boucher

That might be able to weather the storm decently enough, especially if early season OG is the new OG

Yeah RHJ and Johnson have been slow to gain Nick’s trust. But time is no longer a luxury. Should be interesting/scary.

They’d have to sign him first; i believe Ennis is just an affiliate player

This team is so well coached it's awesome.

Not just winning basketball but gorgeous basketball.

Sure would be nice to steal one of these LA games.
