OT: The News Thread

look, you guys can call me whatever you want. when you say what you say so consistently about the US, israel, iran, and islamists, a sane human being can't come to any other conclusion but that you guys despise the US and israel and want bad things for them. pooh-pooh all you want, your own words and opinions damn you.

I bet your calves are in excellent shape. The kind even teeds would love. You simply MUST be in superb physical shape to be jumping to the conclusions you do, with the furor that you do, as often as you do.

ME's one-word denials aside, the inescapable conclusion is that:

1. many of you have spewed visceral anti-US views here
2. many of you have spewed even more visceral anti-israel views here
3. many of you have expressed a great deal of sympathy for, and made apologies and rationalizations for the "palestinians", and iran, and islamists

here's just one, from an unnamed poster....

"The IDF has taken crimes against humanity to a completely different level. And it’s obviously no secret how vicious and violent the IDF and the Israeli leaders are. "

then there was this heartwarming little apology for the taliban butchering foreign doctors trying to help people in the region, again, from an unnamed poster...

"It's terrible that such a thing happened to doctors who were only there to help, but

- Doctors were traveling with no security in a war zone

- The had been warned by local police not to enter the area, but insisted they were safe because they were doctors

- It was likely "just" a robbery (as fundamentalist muslims heavily frown on theft...thus the Christian missionary excuse, it is excusable by certain readings of the Qu'ran to kill someone who is trying to take muslims away from the path)

and of course, if "we" either weren't there, or had stayed there and handled the situation properly from the beginning instead of using the US domestic political reality of the time as a window to attack Iraq and pull resources away from rebuilding Afghanistan (giving the Taliban a much needed respite which they have used to gain control over significant parts of the country)...then this wouldn't have happened."

i could go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, but i don't have the time or the inclination. if you havent read countless examples of:

-US bashing
-israel bashing
-iran/palestinian/islamist apologizing

here on this forum, then you simply can't read.

No

The only inescapable conclusion is that you're an unhinged nutter.

.... or maybe your mind just THINKS so... have you ever considered that? Have you even bothered to consider the possibility that you may have misunderstood or misread the true meaning of the words posted?
No.... you are KrauthammerBoy, the great. Never wrong. Never partisan. Always the true defender of the real truth (as I see it, or can twist it into).

you're kidding, right? this thread, and the news thread, are probably up to 1000 pages combined. you can find the evidence yourself.

The onus is not on those accused of something to prove their innocence of the claims you have leveled against them, but instead is on you to prove without a doubt the veracity of your claims.

Since you supposedly care about democracy and the Rule of Law, right? So don't be lazy and skirt around the issue. If the anti-Israeli, pro-Islamic sentiments expressed by others described by you are of such prevalence in this thread surely you shall not have to tread far to provide a few examples that prove your point.

in five minutes of searching i provided three examples above. i also have years and years of memories of fighting against countless other examples. i think the more useful exercise would be for you guys to prove that you are NOT:

1. rabidly anti-american
2. viscerally anti-israeli
3. highly prone to apologizing for, and sympathizing with, the "palestinians", islamists, and iran

This is ****ing hilarious.

to translate: Because I was only able to find a few examples of you guys even saying any remotely close to what I accuse you of, it's now on you to prove that you're not bigger *******s than Hitler.

You cannot prove a negative or something that doesn't exist, they arent rabidly anti american or viscerally anti israel or even apologists for the other side.

Example:

Person #1: Prove that God exists.
Person #2: Prove that God DOESN'T exist.

It's a fallacy for the second person to place the burden of proof on the first person when the latter is making a claim of disputable veracity.
