Regardless, runaway entitlement and agenda spending is as old as human history. In fact, Greeks invented democracy and experienced that problem very soon afterwards, yet, they learned nothing.

The GOP's schtick about less government is just an easy way of getting the gullible into buying into the idea that tax cuts for the very wealthy on the backs of the middle class is a good thing.

Republicans still want to monitor your calls. They still want to tell women what they can do with their vaginas. They still want to control who gets married. They still want to give huge contracts to their military and builder buddies with your money. They still want impose their values on you through government.

Republicans are very much for government involvement. Otherwise, the 1 percent, won't remain the 1 percent. They need government and lots of it.
