Who answered the questions more directly? 45% - Romney, 43% - Obama
so what is he proposing? people stop driving cars?
unless there are no gas-powered cars, the US cannot be energy independent.
He is hanging his hat on saying that they can control their own pricing by being energy self-sufficient.
I don't get this at all.
He didn't answer the question about how he would create jobs for graduating students, he just said he "knows what it takes". He turned a question about restricting assault rifles into an argument for traditional marriage. When asked about equal pay for women in the workplace, he didn't address that particular subject at all - only saying he hired women and talked about how they needed to get home to cook dinner. When questioned on his math, he didn't attempt to explain the math in any way, he just told us he was a business man. And he ran the Olympics. I think he was far worse than Obama in this regard.
Really? You can't force US oil producers to sell domestically if they can get a better price on the international market.
The last two sets of numbers seem to be contradictory. Middle class does better in a better economy but Obama is seen as helping them whereas Willard is seen as helping the economy more.
This was my point before having people thrust their derision on me. It's all perception. Having lived extensively in both countries I am flat out telling you that Americans and Canadians DO NOT think the same way, for the most part anyway. I'm not defending Romney, I'm trying to show people that what they thought they saw last night is not what voters saw.
kelly oxford @kellyoxford
USA is Homer Simpson. Canada is Lisa Simpson.

This site still has Obama ahead but if a state or two goes Willard's way,,,

Meh, sometimes Romney doesn't get a fair shake. Much like Obama. It seems like everyone here is quick to defend Barry and let Mitt get run over.
Guys named Willard tend to get picked on and it is our white guilt over slavery that requires us to defend Obama, the first black leader in the western world.
First rate commentary as always counselor.
heh.
literally every single thing you said there is laughably wrong. you live in bizarro world.
- Obama has not only killed the #1 terrorist, but killed more terrorists than any president ever has
- Obama has put more pressure on China than any president ever has
- Obama has implemented the strongest, most universal, and most successful sanctions against Iran there ever has been
- Obama's unbelievable success in influencing the uprisings in Libya, Egypt, and Tunisia was not only wildly successful, but shows just how embarassingly idiotic and wasteful the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were.
- all your comments about "relations" with Russia, Pakistan, Israel, and Canada are utter bullshit, and his ability to co-ordinate unprecedented international agreement on the Libya intervention and the Iran sanctions (including those countries you say hate him) is truly impressive.
And now, all because of one single day of coordinated terrorist attacks, the right is desperately trying to paint a world running amok. It's laughable.
