OT: American Politics

Re: OT: Canadian Politics

I'm not so sure. Anytime people view you as unelected, and then you try to remove an elected official you're walking a very tightrope. There are some sets in both Etobicoke and Scarborough that Wynne better be very afraid of if she gets fancy.

true

but think of the campaign...ford vs the big bad ontario government

you will have your re-elected hero!

“I’ve never said that in my life to her. "

Is this another case of the media not asking the right question?

Re: OT: Canadian Politics

Actually, the City of Toronto is governed by a separate act than the rest of Ontario's municipalities. So, if the province did decide to set a precedent here, it's already possible to do it without affecting the other 440+ Ontario municipalities.

I noted that already, but thanks.

Re: OT: Canadian Politics

I hate bike lanes and the fact he is an arrogant SOB who wants to take cars out of the city. Gregor the Great can suck my ****.

Oh the horrible horrible bike lanes. He's added what two of them? Gregor has been a great mayor. Your delusional.

Re: OT: Canadian Politics

I didn't say it was a good thing - clearly it's not- but we'll done it. To go after Ford on this issue is pretty hypocritical.

I have never done, and never will.
I have, however, had to deal with the consequences of a drunk driver recently.

He's going to need to get some hair dye and eat a lot between now and Saturday.
