Out of Town Scoreboard

It was a bad non-call but they were already on the PP for a marginal roughing call as it was. Chicago got two PP in OT, they had every chance to win. They didn't.

It's a good thing they didn't call him for roughing then. It was a delay of game call for shooting the puck over the glass.

There was a Roughing penalty on Reeves for hitting Toews, that was quite questionable.

And on that PP there was a STL puck over the glass that was not called because it was not conclusive.

I have no problem with the "maybe" miss because the Reeves penalty never should have been called in the first place.

I think you are thinking of the over the ice penalty that WAS called in the first OT.

No there wasn't. Reeves was called for delay of game cause he shot the puck over the glass.

The stupid announcers said roughing when I saw the puck clearly go over the glass. That's NBC for you.

What I do like is that NBC is telecasting the CBC broadcasts of the Habs series.

The better team won the game, it would have been nice to steal it, and Crawford and Miller were both outstanding after the 1st.

When Saad pushed Lapierre into the net and then Lapierre subsequently saved a sure goal because of it I had the strong feeling Chicago was done, wasn't meant to be last night.

Yeah... it was pretty obvious. I see that all the time. Announcers get it wrong and then even after several replays they don't realize what actually happened.

**** me, now i'm a bit more upset.

And i knew Chicago was "done" for the night when Sharp was stopped on the breakaway....and didnt like their legs for a 3OT game

St Louis looked more desperate.

Chicago had the better scoring opportunities but ran into a hot goalie after the first period. Not having Bouwmeester for the 2nd OT definitely hurt, but he was back out there for the 3OT on the ice for the GWG.

The difference between Miller and Halak isn't the level of play they're capable of. It's that Miller can carry that level of play for 6 weeks without breaking down physically. Halak can carry that level of play, but isn't durable enough to handle the grind.
