Habs News & Notes: 2013-14 Season

Probably not. It would be a good amount of injuries. We already have White, Tinordi & Murray sitting with Moen injured and maybe coming back at some point. I don't consider Parros a scratch, he wouldn't get in the line up no matter how many players get injured.

The Black Aces are there really to practice with the healthy players on the team while the injured/beat up players take time to rest up.

Of those 10 players, the only one I can see getting a shot is Pateryn because he shoots from the right & the Habs' two scratches (Tinordi & Murray) are both left handed shooters.

Depends who or if we play in next round... Bruins you replace Moen with Bournival.... Red Wings, maybe keep as is...

Bournival has played really well. His speed on the forecheck is important, plus his great energy and defensive play.

If Moen comes in, Prust should go out

The fact Prust is playing on a line that is producing and doing well in all three zones makes it doubtful that he'll be demoted to the 4rth line let alone put in the stands.

If anyone it's between Bournival and Weiss

Briere? I've not been too impressed by his play outside of the first game.

Yup - he's #1 on the list of forwards to sit....

But why rush a guy with a partially torn ligament? IMO, they'll buy as much time until Galchenyuk's potential becomes a necessity.

I don't see them sitting anyone if they continue to win. Chucky will have to wait for a loss.

I don't see them sitting anyone for Moen but I think they will find a way in the lineup for Chucky.

There will be different line ups if we advance to the second round. It'll be hard to sit Bournival or Weise against Boston, though. Maybe against the Wings.

Briere won't sit....Therrien wants the flexibility of having him for the PP...

Bournival will sit, because it won't disrupt the room by sitting a vet like Briere/Prust.

In reality, Prust should sit....he's playing with one arm.

There is no way you leave Chuckie out of the lineup....we need talent

Not hard to sit Briere though.

Briere won't sit unless he's injured. He might reduce their playing time, but Therrien will die with his vets.

Bournival and Weise are the likeliest to get the short end of the stick. Bournival cause he's a rookie and Weise to keep him fresh and hungry for the next game.
