GDT - Yotes @ Leafs | Morale Victory continues 7:30 PM EST TSN4

Not sure anyone thinks a 24 point pace, which is what they have been playing at under Horachek, is sustainable. Thats way worse than Buffalo/Edmonton.

3-15-1 stretch. They're so bad. The right year to do it though.

Well buffalo has lost 12 straight in regulation....they are horroawful.

But yea, this version of the leafs are unwatchable. I really havent a clue who pays to see this?

Man this is tough, I feel like this is the toughest time since this team started sucking balls in the 2005/06 season

Yeah, this is the worst hockey I've seen from this team since the last year of JFJ/Maurice. Just brutal to watch.

Not that i expect a new coach to be able to come in and change everything, but we have seen zero improvement. Where our "defense" has seen marginal improvement, our offense has gone to complete shit.

We haven't seen "marginal" improvement. We've seen incredible improvement, proof positive that Randy's system was one of the primary problems, probably the biggest, with our defence.

Bernier gave up some shit goals tonight, but f*ck where is the offense?

Dead, for the moment. But unsustainably dead. Even if this team magically turned into a poor offensive team under the new system, they would still produce double what they have so far under Horacek.

I'm not a supporter of tanking on purpose, but the light at the end of this long ugly tunnel of shit is a shiny new prospect.

I get it, and I'm resigned to it at this point, I just don't see how anyone who considers themselves a fan can curse Phil Kessel scoring a goal.

I'm now convinced you guys are tanking on purpose. It's like the 1919 black Sox all over again.

I thought I'd watch to see some of the kids like Granberg and how the various players are doing with the new system. I got through two periods of this paint drying exercise before turning it off. Missed the good stuff. Damn.

I had a feeling it wasn't going to work out well when I saw Pete going back to Randy's favourite troika.

Christ, watched the highlights ... Bernie has his Felix moment (although I think McInnis was closer). That was just horrid, but typical snoozing for this guy.

lol ... interesting it took 4 pages for people to see that ... good catch ;)

Well, to be perfectly honest, for the 2nd game in a back-to-back i expected us to be outshot, but overall I REALLY thought we played a decent game defensively. There were 45 shots but how many good scoring chances? Not that many. (Of course, we might have to re-define "scoring chances" based on how Bernier played)

So now I know Bernier is a believer of the McDavid program ... heh.

One thing I gotta give props to this team is - once they're figured out they aren't gonna make the playoff, they are VERY efficient in tanking and dropping to a better draft position. With the loss last night, the Leafs are only 4 W's above the 4th worst PHX Coyotes, and they have 2 games in hand.

We just gotta make sure our offense doesn't wake up ... maybe another injury to Mr. glass or Mr. Ironman will make sure of that. Or maybe we don't even need injuries ... cause the AHL callups might bring more offense.

Good job boys ... good job.

Don't worry about injuries, we'll be trading some players, somehow weakening the team..
